Growth anisotropy and cell-wall mechanics

I worked on the link between cell wall mechanic and fission yeast anisotropic growth. I collaborate on different projects studying the role of polar domain on morphogenesis, the role of elastic deformation on the shape of cells, the influence of cell wall thickness on the apical growth. For a few years, I have been developing a vegetal experimental model to persue this thematic : corticated characeae.
